First Aid Course Information
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (including CPR)
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The course covers CPR, Bleeding Control, Snake Bites, Choking, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Burns and more.
HLTAID009 Provide CPR
Learn the skills and obtain the knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an Adult and Infant, along with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency first aid response in an education + care setting.
This course applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

Delivered in line with ARC guidelines this course provides workers, or nominated workplace first aiders, from any industry sector, the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary in the provision of care to adults and/or children in the workplace who are diagnosed as being at risk of asthma and/or anaphylaxis or displaying signs and symptoms of asthma and/or anaphylaxis.

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, UETDRRF004 – Perform rescue from a live LV Panel
The course covers the performance of rescue procedures from a live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace. The CPR and LVR course is essential if you are conducting live work or working with live switchboards.
